Are you planning a romantic getaway with your loved one? If so, you might want to book your holidays in Czech Republic. The Czech Republic is considered one of the most romantic destinations in the world, and it's easy to see why once you set your eyes on the charming towns and magnificent castles that the country has to offer.

One of the best ways to kick off your romantic holidays in Czech Republic is by visiting one of the country's enchanting castles, starting off with the Karlstejn Castle. Considered the most important castle in Czech Republic, the Karlstejn Castle was built by King Charles IV in 1348 with the idea of keeping the coronation jewels and relics of the crucifixion there. The treasure vaults are open for public viewing at the Holy Cross Chapel, although the tour has to be booked in advance.

The Chateau of Lednice, which was a gift of Prince Premysl to the Lichtenstein family is worth touring, too, as well as the Sychrov Castle in the Liberec Region. If you're not afraid of the dark, you'll be glad to know that some castles offer night tours, too, for a more unique and romantic adventure.

Some castles hold formal balls, as well, which you can attend with your partner during your holidays in Czech Republic. This way, you can get to dress up and dance until dawn like they do in fairy tales. If you're not confident about your dancing skills, there are ballroom dancing lessons in the country that you can enroll in, too.

Prague is considered one of the most romantic cities in the world and is also the capital of the Czech Republic so make sure you stop by for a few days. While there, ride a horse-drawn carriage through the cobblestone streets of Old Town, rent a rowboat along the Vltava River or take a midnight stroll through one of the parks and orchards below Petrin Hill.

Prague is not the only city worth visiting, though. While spending your holidays in Czech Republic, take a stroll through the picturesque medieval towns of Cesky Krumlov and Telc, which have also been listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

If you want to enjoy the fresh air, you can have an outdoor adventure while hiking or cycling across the Bohemian Paradise. You can go horse-riding at the Beskydy Mountains, too, or spend some time alone together in a hot air balloon ride.

Afterwards, you can enjoy a relaxing weekend at the Karlovy Vary where you can undergo spa treatments together. This way, you can return home from your holidays in Czech Republic feeling rejuvenated, as well as with lots of wonderful times to reminisce together for years to come.
